Physics- Newton’s Poster

1.  Fold Poster into a tri-fold (Do not use cardboard!  This needs to be regular size poster board).

2.  On the front, upper left corner write your name, period, and due date.

3.  On the front, upper right corner write Newton’s first law.

4.  On the front, lower right corner write Newton’s second law.

5.  On the front, lower left corner write Newton’s third law.

6.  On the inside, across the top left panel label “Newton’s 1st Law.”  Then fill that panel with at least two examples that occur in your chosen scenerio.  (Choose any situation that has motion: a sport event, the state fair, a circus, a mall, etc.  All examples for all the laws should be from the same situation.)  Use both words and pictures.

7.  On the inside, across the middle panel label “Newton’s 3rd law” and give at least 2 examples using both words and pictures.

8.   On the inside, across the middle panel label “Newton’s 2nd law” and give at least 2 examples using both words and pictures.

9.  You will be graded according to this rubric:

Front ( name, date, period, 3 laws stated) 40 points
Inside (at least 2 examples for each law, described using vocabulary of the law, pictures to illustrate) 60 points
